Mimi Escobar, PT

Physical Therapist

Mimi Escobar received her teaching degree in Health and Physical Education from Appalachian State University. While in college, she also competed on the swimming team.  She continued her education at East Carolina University, earning a BS in Physical Therapy in 1986. Mimi has over 20 years of outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine experience. Mimi is also trained and certified in both Upper and Lower Extemity Active Release Technique (ART) and SASTM. Outside of work she enjoys her church, training for and running marathons, trail running, and traveling. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, Carlos, two daughters, Laura and Paulina, and her friends.
